Not your usual shortbread!

These are somehow a bit more of a savory biscuit, in which I didn’t recognize the shortbread flavor I’m accustomed to, it actually tasted very much like butter (which I’m aware of is the title of the snack), and a strong buttery flavor at that. The texture is not as crumbly as shortbreads like Walkers, and is more kind of thick cracker-like. It is not totally savory, but not very sweet. I think people who adore pure butter flavor would love these.

Great lil biscuits

On an average day I wouldn’t call these shortbread cookies, I’d call them tea biscuits… regardless of the name they are scrumptious!
